Ekiti State to Build Second Flyover Bridge in Ado Ekiti
The Ekiti State Government has approved the construction of a one-kilometer flyover bridge from Ijigbo roundabout (Union Bank, Ajilosun) to Okeyinmi roundabout (First Bank) in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. This will be the second flyover bridge in the city, marking significant infrastructure development for Ekiti State.
The announcement was made by the State Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, who also revealed the approval of the rehabilitation of the Ikere-Ise-Emure road.

“The flyover bridge was initially proposed from Irona to Mathew (Saint Paul),” Olatunbosun explained, “but after a critical review of the traffic volume and gridlock, it was changed to commence from Ajilosun and terminate at Okeyinmi.”
